Wow, what a change from an X5!
By BSquared | on Saturday, April 27, 2019
Time to move from my 2015 X5 and couldn't see myself jumping into another one(or similar X3). Guess I just tired of the "boxy" look. Anyway, the exterior styling of the new X4 called to me and still satisfied my need for enough storage, while giving me the off-road goodies I need for the PA winter slop. I had to have the X4 M40i though, as I love that BMW inline 6cylinder/8speed combination. I must say that I thoroughly enjoy this car and can't wait to jump into it. The handling is sooo-much more nimble and sporty than my older X5, while the interior room is almost the same size. The updated I-drive, voice control and Nav. system is just flat-out amazing. In sport/sport+ mode the handling is light and crisp, and the acceleration will "flat-out" set you back in the great sport seats. I mean, this thing is just a ball to drive!! Long highway drives are very comfortable and the cabin noise is almost non-existant.… - 5.0
Everything I hoped for and more.

Strong handling and tightness on the road. Quick off a standing stop. Excellent safety features, M quality braking, surround cameras, and speedometer on lower windshield. Comfortable ride inside, with intuitive features such as automatic heating of steering wheel when cold, etc. This is my third BMW and best all around, most fun vehicle I have owned.… - 5.0
Excellent Dad mobile!

Great car in its class. I came from 2017 Macan GTS, and that was a fun car. But for the pricing, the power, tech, and comfort, the X4M40i is simply unbeatable. As others have stated, all around great car/CUV for the price-range. Absolutely love it as a daily driver.…
